Health Canada regulates the donor screening, processing importation, distribution and use of donor sperm and eggs in Canada. All donors of sperm and eggs must comply with the Assisted Human Reproduction (AHR) Act (2004) and the AHR Consent Regulations (2007). Donor sperm must also comply with the Processing and Distribution of Semen for Assisted Conception Regulations (2000).

CAN-AM reviews each donor specimen before it is imported to ensure it complies with regulation and standards. Our facility and our documentation are inspected annually by Health Canada, and we are proud to report an outstanding record of quality and safety.
