Sperm banking
Storing sperm is a simple way to protect against loss of future fertility. Medical procedures such as vasectomy, cancer treatment, and surgical and hormonal treatment associated with gender-confirming surgery are common reasons for sperm banking. Your risk of fertility loss may also be increased by engaging in occupations, recreational activities or medical treatments with a chance of injury to the spine or reproductive organs, or due to exposure to chemicals or radiation that cause genetic mutations. Common medications and chronic diseases which cause erectile dysfunction can indirectly impair fertility as well.
